Jessica Lange : Cloquet's Jessica Lange wins Emmy for 'American Horror Story'

Cloquet native Jessica Lange won an Emmy Award on Sunday night for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie. Lange won for her role as Constance Langdon, a dramatic busybody neighbor, in the first season of the FX series “American Horror Story.” In its first season, the series was the story of a family that moved to a sketchy mansion in Los Angeles, a place where the dead interact with the living. It is the second Emmy Award of Lange’s career and fourth nomination. Her other win was for “Grey Gardens.” “American Horror Story,” produced by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, was nominated for 17 awards and the new season starts Oct. 17. But, in a TV twist, the new season starts from scratch with new characters and a new plot. Lange will return, this time as a nun.
